After plastic water bottles failed after 2 years or less (the lid is usually removed first) after eating plastic water bottles for a while, I decided to invest in dark stainless steel bottles...buttttttt then this popped up on my screen and I love it so much I thought I'd try a bottle other plastic.
It's a good size without being too bulky, and the revitalizing line down the side is fun to keep you hydrated, but I usually only drink two cups a day. Lgene's large water bottle holds the same amount of water, but it can't hold two cup holders, and it's a bit tiring to carry. This would be easier for me on a business trip etc.
It has a handy carrying strap so you can carry it around without getting your hands caught, but if you are going to wash it make sure you remove it before putting it in the dishwasher. I don't know if it's dishwasher safe rated, but it says it's suitable for both hot and cold liquids, so it looks like it needs some heat - we don't know how much. Obviously, dishwashers tend to get very hot. So when I put them in the dishwasher, I would put them on the top rack as often as possible just to be safe. Hand washing is the surest way to keep your water bottles in good shape (especially if there's something on them), but it's not always as safe as we'd like.
If you're not a fan of bracelets, the case includes an extra plastic loop for carrying and folds flat to virtually disappear when not in use. There is a latch/lock on the top so you don't have to worry about it coming off accidentally, and the wide rubber gasket prevents liquids from slowly seeping in (note: the rubber gasket is easy to remove when it's easy to clean. Slip it back on when you're done.) in the part The top (but not attached) filter is there if you want to add fresh fruit to the water or preserve your drink (I personally hate drinking ice - it slowed me down lol - so with mine it worked).
I really like this bottle so far. My only concern is that it won't last more than 2 years as the plastic can become brittle and weather over time - especially the type of plastic used above. But who knows, maybe this bottle will be different and prove me wrong. Only time can tell.
