Microsoft Corporation LinkedIn today announced new AI-powered features designed to help users improve their profiles on the site and help recruiters write job postings.
The new tool, based on OpenAPI AI models, will initially be available to paid LinkedIn Premium subscribers.
The company said that it relies on a GPT 4 template to help the user create suitable text to fill in their profile and a GPT 3.5 template for writing a job ad.
The company also announced that it has provided more than 100 artificial intelligence courses through the LinkedIn Learning Courses service, including 20 special courses in the field of generative artificial intelligence.
Artificial intelligence helps users (LinkedIn) who struggle to write engaging work history summaries, as the system automatically identifies the user's essential skills and experience to write suggestions that help characterize their profile so that a certain style is reflected for each user. The company says it encourages users to review and edit suggested content before it is published.
Similarly, the job posting tool helps streamline the hiring process by saving HR staff time and effort by telling AI basic job information such as job title and company name so that the new tool can generate the required job description. . Editors can review and revise the content according to their needs.
It should be noted that the use of artificial intelligence in the recruitment process is not entirely new, as there are a number of programs that help human resources staff to scan candidates' resumes by searching for specific words. However, using generative AI techniques to compose resumes or job postings is relatively new and has been in vogue since ChatGPT launched late last year.
Specifically, Microsoft has invested about $10 billion in OpenAI and is working to integrate the startup's AI technology into many of its products, such as the Bing engine, the Edge web browser, and the Teams video chat app.
