How to use the Google Keep collaboration feature

Google Keep is a simple note-taking app for web browsers and mobile phones. It can be used to save ideas, add to-do lists, add photos to notes, and even schedule events all together. You can share and edit notes together, and add information with other Google Keep users.

This feature is useful in many situations, for example: when planning a trip with your family, you can create a note in Google Keep, save things to do during the trip, gadgets to take with you, invite family members notes, add edit in, add information about it. On the other hand, you can use this feature at work to collaborate with colleagues to design a specific project or schedule jobs.

1- How to use the Google Keep collaboration feature:

Follow these steps to start collaborating with Google Keep:

1- Open a web browser and go to Google Keep Desktop or if you have never used Google Keep before download it available on Google Play Store for Android phone users and Android App Store available for iPhone users.

2- Open Google Keep on web or app, sign in to your Google account and write a new note to collaborate on, or select an existing note if you've already used Google Keep.

3- Once you open the note you want to share, you will see a person icon with a plus sign (+) next to it, tap on it. If you're using the app from your phone, you'll find an option (Employees) in a row of options that appears after you tap the three-dot menu button, with a human icon and a plus sign next to it.

4- After clicking on the add collaborator icon, a popup will appear. Enter the name or email address of the person you want to collaborate with. You can add multiple collaborators to a note.

5- After adding all employees, click Save.

2- How to stop sharing in Google Keep Notes:

Pictures of all accounts added to the note are displayed at the bottom right of the notes page. To remove someone who shared a note with you, tap their account picture. A popup will appear with the names of all employees. There is an X next to each name. Click the X next to the name of the person you want to remove and then click the Save button.
