How to enable AI features in the Opera browser
You can access the artificial intelligence capabilities of Opera on Windows, Mac and Linux computers and in Opera GX on Mac and Windows computers by updating or downloading your version of the Opera browser. location.
Opera's artificial intelligence features are not automatically activated when the browser is downloaded or updated. To activate it, please follow these steps:
- Start Opera or Opera GX and right-click on the easy setup icon.
- Enable AI Tips (Early Access).
- Click the sidebar settings button next to (AI Services in the sidebar) to open the sidebar and check if ChatGPT and ChatSonic are enabled by default.
Here's how to get started with Opera's AI features in search
To use Opera's artificial intelligence capabilities in your search, follow these steps:
- Open the web page in Opera.
- Click the AI Index button in the address bar.
- A ChatGPT Initials (CG) and ChatSonic Initials (CS) icon will appear next to each suggested text hint icon for you to click and start chatting.
- You can also click the ChatGPT or ChatSonic icons in the sidebar to open their chat boxes.
- Enter the required text prompt as request ideas, abstracts, translations, writing code, articles, reports, etc. You can also request to create an AI avatar from ChatSonic Bot.
