How to track sleep with your Apple Watch

The negative effects of insomnia and sleep deprivation appear in your life in various forms such as: b. Feeling tired frequently during the day and not being able to concentrate throughout the workday. While getting enough sleep can boost your energy and focus, tracking your sleep is important for understanding your sleep patterns and identifying the source of your daily stress. If you have an Apple Watch, you can take advantage of the sleep tracking feature that is built into it.

Here's how to set a sleep schedule, turn on sleep tracking, and monitor sleep pattern stats on your Apple Watch:

Sleep tracking on the Apple Watch

If you have an Apple Watch, your watch has sleep tracking, allowing you to monitor and record your sleep patterns each night. Sleep tracking is available on Apple Watches running watchOS 7 or later. You also need an iPhone 6S or later with iOS 14 or later to sync sleep stats in the iPhone Health app.

If you wear a compatible Apple Watch while you sleep, it tracks your total sleep time. When you wake up in the morning, the Sleep app tells you how long you slept at night, and the iPhone Health app tracks your daily and weekly sleep patterns.

However, one thing to look out for before using the Apple Watch to track sleep is the battery level. You should set aside some time during the day to charge your Apple Watch battery to at least 30% in order to track sleep.
