A report reveals when Apple could launch a new iMac with the M3 chip

According to a Bloomberg News report on Sunday, Apple plans to release a new version of its iMac computer in the second half of this year.

While the next version of the computer (iMac) is expected to have the same 24-inch screen size as its predecessor, Bloomberg announced last January that it would have an M3 (M3) chip, which uses 3nm manufacturing technology and is more energy efficient. .

Since it is not officially known when Apple intends to release the new version (iMac), Bloomberg assumes that the computer will begin mass production in three months and could start shipping in the second half of 2023: blue, silver, pink and orange

Bloomberg reports that the new iMac is in "advanced development" and that Apple is "currently conducting production testing of the device."

Other details revealed by Bloomberg indicate that some internal components (of the iMac) could be "relocated and redesigned" and that the production process for the iMac display stand is "different."

This, and people believe that the time has come to introduce an upgrade for the computer (iMac), because Apple has not introduced a new version in two years, because the 2021 model is the first model with Apple's own silicon chip, in addition to the larger model. screen and a new set of colors.

In a report issued last June, Bloomberg started talking about Apple's work on a 13-inch and 15-inch laptop (MacBook Air) with a (M3) chip, in addition to a new computer (iMac).

The M3 chipset should perform better than the current M2 chipset. According to TSMC, which makes chips for Apple, 3nm manufacturing technology can be up to 15% faster and reduce power consumption by up to 30% compared to current 5nm manufacturing technology.

Taiwan Chipset Manufacturer Corporation (TSMC) began mass production of its 3nm M3 (nm3) chips at its Taiwan factory last year.
