Twitter is down for the second time in a week

Twitter suffered a general blackout that affected many users of the social network around the world. NetBlocks, which monitors websites, confirmed in a tweet that some users were unable to access the site. The foundation said that the outage had nothing to do with Internet infrastructure problems in any particular country, and confirmed that the outage came from Twitter itself.

It should be noted that this is the second time that Twitter has experienced an outage this week. The site worked briefly during the Super Bowl in February and was unable to post messages last week. Inside the site, apart from a few similar issues the site has been experiencing lately.

Notably, the site has suffered a rise in technical problems since it was acquired by US billionaire Elon Musk for $44 billion last year. Musk fired thousands of company employees immediately after taking office, leading many to associate the wave of layoffs with the site's demise.

Twitter has not yet released an official statement regarding the matter or the reasons behind it.
