TikTok announced Thursday that it will be hosting a 5-day media contest later this month with a total prize pool of $500,000.
In a blog post, the company said that a TikTok Trivia contest will be held live on the platform from February 22-26 for US users 18 years of age or older.
TikTok said the questions will be "multiple choices" covering beauty, lifestyle, music and exercise. Three days before the match, there are two live broadcasts per day of one full hour each.
The company said that the session will consist of 12 questions, with the winners sharing $30,000, and in the second round, the winners will share $70,000.
There will also be a special "Survival Rounds" segment on February 25th and 26th, where the difficulty increases with each question. The last group will share $100,000.
Users can go to Douyin Live's TikTok channel to join Douyin Live's Q&A session. Users must join a meeting on time and answer all questions correctly to share the prizes for that meeting.
It should be noted that TikTok competitions are not new, (HQ) HQ has achieved great success many years ago with its general competition application (HQ Trivia) that was launched in 2017 and attracted many users due to its new features. The direct nature of the game and its real money prizes.
HQ Trivia allows smartphone users to win real money. The game consists of 12 multiple-choice questions of varying difficulty from start to finish on a variety of topics such as: technology, sports, music, and more.
The idea of the game revolved around creating real-time interaction between the participants when scheduling the game, but it started to lose popularity over time until the company was permanently closed these days in 2020 and employees were laid off.
