Samsung officially launched the Galaxy S23 Plus |
Samsung officially announced the Galaxy S23 Plus today (Wednesday) at the (Galaxy Unpacked) event, along with the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The new phone (Galaxy S23 Plus) shares many of the same specifications as its younger brother (Galaxy S23), such as: screen type and resolution, glass protection, processor type, operating system, memory size, and front and rear camera specifications.
The phone offers a 6.6-inch screen (Dynamic AMOELD 2X) with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9, and a pixel density of 390 pixels per inch.
The screen of the mobile phone is protected by a layer of glass (Gorilla Glass Victus 2), supports a frequency of 120 Hz, and also supports high dynamic range technology (HDR10 +) and the Always-On function.
In addition to the glass that protects the screen, the back of the phone is protected by a layer of glass of equal strength, in addition to an aluminum frame that is 7.6 mm thick and weighs 196 grams. The phone also supports the IP68 standard for water and dust resistance, and it can dive to a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
(Galaxy S23 Plus) is equipped with the latest generation of Qualcomm chipsets (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2) with a resolution of 4 nanometers, eight cores, a maximum frequency of 3.2 GHz, and an Adreno 740 graphics processor.
The phone offers 8GB of RAM, 256GB, or 512GB of internal storage that is not expandable.
Programmatically, the (Galaxy S23 Plus) runs Android 13 operating system from Google and the latest version of the user interface from Samsung (One UI 5.1), which brings many new features.
On the back of the phone is the main camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels with an f / 1.8 lens, and the second with a resolution of 10 megapixels with an f / 1.8 lens with aperture of 2.4 for depth shooting with 3x optical zoom. 12MP f/2.2 for 120° ultra wide angle shots.
The rear camera can record video (8K) at 30fps and 720p at 960fps.
The front camera, located in the hole at the top of the screen, has a resolution of 12 megapixels and an f / 2.2 lens, capable of (Auto-HDR) and (HDR10 +) (4K) video recording, with a resolution of 60 frames per second.
(Galaxy S23 Plus) supports the latest communication technologies such as: Bluetooth 5.3, (Wi-Fi 6e) and (NFC). It also has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display.
The phone contains a 4,900 mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging technology, 10W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.
Samsung intends to launch the phone in four colors: black, green, purple and white, with four additional colors exclusive to the web available for order starting today at a starting price of $999.
