I like cooking. Besides salt, pepper is one of my favorite spices in all of my recipes. In fact, I even put chili peppers in my vanilla ice cream! My peppers must be fresh.
Pepper mills come in all shapes and sizes. I have several pepper mills and most of them eventually fail. My pepper bunny died (no kidding, I'm heartbroken) and I need a new grinder. So I decided to do that.
I put 4 AAA batteries in the battery box, filled the water tank with Tellicherry black pepper and raced. I set the grind to coarseness and hit the button. A lamp was dropped under the mill and lit the boards, the engine started and the peppers fell like winter snow from the bottom of the mill. Is it coarse any! I ran the grinder setting at least 2 full turns and tried again. Yes, the peppers are big, but they're not as big as I like them to be. I'll play with this mod later because the grind is hard enough for most things.
This treadmill can get the job done. It's nice to live at the table. The water tank is large enough not to overfill and easy to use. I think I'll go back and buy one for the pink Himalayan rock salt I have in my closet!
