I love this hand mixer. I usually choose my cooking utensils based on Cook photo reviews. However, after reading IC recommended by Braun and GE, I still choose GE, which is similar in all respects but the engine is more powerful.
I think I will use this mixer for mashed juices and soup. Both of them have done great results. But the biggest surprise was my use of seasoning / sauce additions. I think this will be one of those additions that occupy a lot of kitchen drawers space.
