The Instagram Stories feature is very popular and popular especially after its merger with Facebook Stories because you can post the same story in both apps at the same time so the app offers multiple ways to post multiple photos in one story.
The Instagram application gives you multiple ways to add multiple photos to your story at once, as one photo may not be enough to tell your story, whether you want to post a group of family photos or want to display a group of photos on your product, there are several ways in the project to collect as many as you want from pictures.
To add multiple photos to your Instagram story:
You can select up to 10 photos and videos from your Camera Roll and upload them to your Story as 10 individual slideshows. You can also use stickers to put multiple photos on the same slide or use Instagram's built-in layout feature to create photo collages.
To add multiple photos to your Instagram stories, you can follow the steps below:
- Go to the Instagram app on your phone.
- Swipe right on the home screen to open the Stories page.
- Click the photo icon in the lower left corner to open the camera roll.
- Long press the first photo you want to post to select it, then select up to 10 photos and videos, then tap the next option at the bottom right to continue.
- Click the (separate) option to post a separate ongoing story.
- On the next screen, you can customize any photo or video by adding text, stickers, or other effects. After completing the customization, click on the Next option.
- Select the audience to view your story: public or close to friends and click on the share option.
2- Use Instagram's built-in layout features:
The Layout feature built into Instagram Stories allows you to arrange a group of photos in a grid-like pattern so that they appear organized on screen without a background. But it can only add 6 photos and it doesn't support videos.
- Go to the Instagram app and open the Stories page.
- Select up to 6 photos and click Next at the bottom right to continue.
- Click on the (Layout) option.
- Click the Edit Grid icon at the top of the screen to change the layout of your photos.
- Click on the Done option that appears in the upper right corner.
- When done, click on the Share option.
3- Post multiple photos in a story using stickers:
You can use stickers in Instagram Stories to add multiple photos to your story. First select a background, then you can put multiple photos on it and adjust their size and position as you like.
- Go to the Instagram app on your phone.
- Swipe right on the home screen to open the Stories page.
- Click the photo icon in the lower right corner to open your camera roll, then select a photo.
- Click on the sticker icon at the top of the screen.
- In the sticker gallery, find the square image sticker with (+) in the middle and click on it.
- Select the image to be inserted and click to drag it, resize and position it as desired.
- Repeat the previous step until you have all the photos you want to include.
- When done, click on the Share option.
