Google today announced several updates to its suite of apps for Android and Wear OS. The new update includes productivity and entertainment features as well as user interface improvements. Google has released the update related to the events of the Mobile World Congress MWC 2023, which starts today in Barcelona.
The first update is related to the Google Keep Notes application, where Google added a new element (widget) that allows users to add notes to the phone's home screen interactively, as to-do lists and notifications are created directly on the desktop and are created without any modifications that may be needed to open the application. Outside of the phone, the app is getting a similar update to Wear OS smartwatches, letting you create notes and to-do lists with a tap on the watch face.
Google has also updated the default PDF viewer in the Google Drive app, allowing users to write manually on the document using a digital pen or a finger. You can choose between different font sizes, new text shading tools, and the ability to save edited files as new files.
The updates also include a new feature that allows Google Meet video chat app users to filter out distracting noises around them while talking on their Android phone. In addition, the update includes new fun features, such as B. A new set of emoji available in the Emoji Kitchen. With this feature, users can mix and reshape emojis and share them as stickers via Gboard.
Finally, the update provides Chrome browser users with more customization options by adding a new option that allows web content to be increased by up to 300%, including text, images, videos, and interactive elements. This feature includes the ability to set the preferred default content size so that users do not have to change it every time.
Google said that users can try out the new features starting today.
