Google announced the launch of the YouTube Kids app for children, with new versions for smart TVs and gaming platforms.
The app is currently available for many Samsung and LG smart TVs and Amazon Fire TV devices as well as Android TV and Apple TV platforms, but the new version will be integrated with the official YouTube app by adding a new option for the app to switch to the children's interface and easily return to the YouTube interface without launching The standalone YouTube Kids app.
In addition to the new application that will be available as an update to the YouTube Smart TV application, Google also announced that the application will be available for gaming platforms such as (PlayStation) and (Xbox).

Google launched YouTube Kids for smartphones and tablets in 2015 to provide a safe YouTube experience for children. The app offers content suitable for children of all ages, including educational and entertaining material. The app also offers parental control settings that allow parents to set a clock timer that will stop running once the app expires, as well as features like disabling search and the ability to view content based on the child's age.
The application also allows the creation of a private profile for each child in the family in a way that preserves their preferred settings and content. The app does not display ads and parents can report videos that they find inappropriate on the app.
According to Google, the app will appear as a new update to the core YouTube app in the coming weeks.
