A new report claims that Microsoft is working hard to integrate artificial intelligence into all of its products, and it looks like Windows will see improvements in this area over the next few years.

One of the features that Microsoft says can be improved with the help of artificial intelligence is the ability to make the most of the viewing area (group windows and programs).

This feature displays arrangement and grouping suggestions by clicking the zoom icon in the upper right corner of the window. When the user selects the desired order, all windows are displayed accordingly on the screen. Here a snap group is created which can be easily zoomed in and out.

Windows Central, Microsoft's news focused site, cites its sources as saying that the US software giant is planning to add some new smart features to the components to make the feature work better in Windows 11.

These features include saving a set of app-specific Snap layouts that users can retrieve with a single click, and incorporating optical character recognition (OCR) technology for searching within apps.

Users who multitask with the same apps are welcome to save Snap layouts. Currently the user has to set the assembly layout each time the application is closed or the computer is restarted. The ability to save assembly schemas significantly speeds up the recovery of a particular schema.

Incorporating OCR technology into the Snap Assist interface is also important to reduce the time it takes to find running apps and put them side by side. For example, users can search for a word, phrase, or image they saw on a webpage or app, even if it isn't mentioned in the title.

The Windows Central website says it's unclear when these features will be ready, but the latest preview builds for Windows 11 include a hidden feature identifier that mentions assembly recommendations, so some of these features may already be available for a ready-made Windows beta version. a few weeks. It could be ready for regular users later this year.

It should be noted that this is only the tip of the iceberg of Microsoft's ideas and plans to integrate artificial intelligence into Windows.

The company plans to sell many of its products as for example, adding artificial intelligence to its desktop applications after adding it to its video conferencing service, Teams.

Following the recent launch of a new version of the AI-powered search engine Bing and the announcement of a $10 billion multi-year investment in AI technology company OpenAI, AI will be an integral part of many of the company's future products.

Also note that for features not yet released, these plans are subject to change and release to users is not guaranteed.
