Samsung has announced that it is ready to produce high-performance PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs.
And the company said that it is equipped with a new controller based on advanced 5-nanometer process technology from Samsung and the seventh generation of flash memory (V-NAND), and the device (PM9C1a) will provide superior performance in computing tasks as well as in PC and laptop games. .

Thanks to the PCIe 4.0 user interface, the Samsung PM9C1a is 1.6 times faster at sequential reading and 1.8 times faster at sequential writing than the previous drive (PM9B1), with read speeds of up to 6,000MB/s and write speeds of up to 5,600MB/s. Additionally, random read and write speeds support up to 900,000 and 1 million inserts per second, respectively.
