Leaked live shots of a giant 240-watt phone charger

A direct image was leaked on Chinese social media that appears to be from a smartphone charger said to be from Realme, which supports fast charging technology with a capacity of up to 240 watts.

Realme is expected to launch its upcoming Realme GT Neo5 smartphone soon, which will be the first phone for the Chinese company to support fast charging technology.

Details of the new SuperVOOC fast charging technology are expected to be announced on January 5, and images of chargers that support this technology have been shown.

The charger has a model number (VCKCJACH) under the brand (SuperVOOC) and it also states that it supports 20V and 12A.

It should be noted that the name (SuperVOOC) is usually associated with OPPO, but the latter shares research and development with Realme, so it appears that it uses the same charger developed by OPPO, and the name may change to show this difference with OPPO products.

The source also revealed that Realme may launch a charger with fewer characteristics than the phone (Realem GT Neo5), which will support fast charging technology with a capacity of “only” 150 watts.

Realme GT Neo5 is rumored to offer dual battery packs, each with its own charge booster for greater and safer power distribution.

It is also worth noting that OPPO launched a visual demonstration of the technology at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2022) in Barcelona, Spain in early 2022, and more announcements are expected next Thursday.
