| Intel announces the thirteenth generation of Intel Core processors |
Intel Corporation announced today, Tuesday, that as part of its participation in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2023), the 13th generation of the Intel Core processor series for mobile devices will lead what the company calls the “first processor for laptops”: 24 cores. "
The American technology giant said in a statement that the new processor (Intel Core i9-13980HX) will increase computing power for gamers and content creators with an enhanced frequency of 5.6GHz, which is the highest speed available in the laptop market.
Intel also introduced the 13th generation (Intel Core P-series) and (U-series) of ultra-thin laptops, designed to meet the needs of those who want high performance on the go in a thin, thin and light design.
These processors have up to 14 cores (6 performance cores and 8 efficiency cores) and an Intel Thread Controller.
New integrated graphics capabilities (Intel Iris Xe Graphics) include: Endurance Gaming, XeSS Super Sampling Technology, and Intel Arc Control Graphics Performance Technology.
And thanks to the (Intel Evo) design integrated into the thirteenth generation of mobile processors (Intel Core), the latter will have a real longer autonomy, in addition to the Intel Movidius GPU.
For desktop PCs, Intel introduced 13th Generation Intel Core processors in new 35W and 65W standards, giving users more power-saving options while improving performance for gaming, content creation, and productivity.
For low-performance PCs and Internet of Things (IoT) devices designed for educators and students, Intel also introduced the Intel Core i3 processor, which features a new energy-efficient core based on Intel 7 processor technology to boost performance up to 28%. Application performance is up to 100% faster and graphics performance is up to 64% faster than the previous generation. In addition to advanced connectivity features such as lightning-fast (Intel Wi-Fi 6E) and Bluetooth 5.2.
