On its iPhone battery repair and replacement page, Apple said, “The fee for out-of-warranty battery service is effective through the end of February 2023. All iPhone models prior to iPhone 14 have been reduced to $20.”

The increased service fee does not affect AppleCare or AppleCare+ subscribers or those who rely on third-party repair services.
