The gauge is large but scratches easily
I really like this scale, but I had no idea how easy it would be to scrape it off with a plate or bowl on it. No big deal... I'll keep it in the drawer.
Misleading software description

The hardware is nice and solid, but the software includes features that are intentionally disabled, at least for Canadians. If you are located outside the United States, the barcode scanner functionality and data syncing with MyFitnessPal will be disabled. It is not possible to manually change the location to enable the above features. Support has told me it will be livened up in a new software version in a few weeks, but I don't have high hopes for it.

I've been using it for a while now, and one of my favorite things, aside from its sophistication, is that it's easy to clean and doesn't have to hold anything. I also love how easy it is to change the unit of measure. I haven't really forgotten about this app until today so now I can't wait to try it out too.

I own two other smart scales from Etekcity. So when a new kitchen scale was needed, it turned up with no issues. It connects seamlessly to my iPhone and my wife's Pixel, is easy to set up, calibrate, and use, and the app has great feed tracking which is a plus. Oh my god... does the scale tell me what to eat? ? !
Nice size but the app needs an overhaul

The scale works and is very accurate, honestly a 5 star product. However, the app gets two stars at best. He wants to do many things. He wants to be MyFitnessPal, but he's not quite there yet. You can't keep track of your day by scanning a barcode to find something like a granola bar. It's okay if you only eat fruits, vegetables, rice, meat, etc. The app also doesn't track your health

I only had this scale for two weeks. At first it was great! Rotating all my macros is very easy. The app was also really useful for keeping track of my info, but I don't like that you have to open the app and your phone screen to change the macros on the scale. Often, bar code readers do not read the code or display the wrong item. Playback is now off about 50% of the time. I have 8 ounces of 50 calories orange juice and the scale says twice as many calories in a pint. I have an almond milk protein that does the same thing. What bothers me the most is the reading all over the place. I can add components and bounce up and down. I can hit things like hit the yogurt cup with the spoon and the counter will jump all over the place and never go back to where it was. It's annoying and I don't know if it records my macros accurately.

I've had many food scales in my life but this is by far the best. It is easy to use. The app you download is very easy to use. This report is very specific. I would recommend this food scale to anyone trying to track their food intake.
