Today, Friday, Huawei officially launched its venerable smartwatch, the Huawei Watch Buds, along with two smartwatches for kids and a new version of its Watch GT 3 Pro smartwatch, at a special event in China.

The Watch Buds are a 2-in-1 device that works like a regular smartwatch, but the screen pops up to reveal a pair of wireless earbuds.

The watch features a 1.43 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The case is made of stainless steel and the bracelet is made of leather, available in black or brown, with a width of 22 mm.

Watch Buds support heart rate monitoring, SpO2 and sleep, stress management, heart rate for atrial fibrillation, and ECG readings.

The watch also offers 80 workout modes, as well as AI noise cancellation for calls and audio. The watch without the bracelet weighs about 66.5 grams, while each earphone weighs 4 grams.

The headphones are IP54 water and dust resistant, while the watch is not fully waterproof due to the opening mechanism. In addition to GLONASS and GPS technologies, the watch also provides Chinese Beidou positioning technology.

The Watch Buds software run Huawei Hongmeng 3 OS and Bluetooth 5.2. The company claims up to 3 days of battery life with the headphones on.

The wireless headphones last for 4 hours of audio playback or 2 1/2 hours of talk time with noise cancellation off. It may take about 100 minutes to fully charge the headset via the magnetic charger.

Huawei has officially started selling Watch Buds headphones in China, at a price equivalent to $429. There is currently no information on when it will be available for global markets.

Along with the Watch Buds, Huawei also launched two children's watches, the Huawei Kids Watch 5X and Huawei Kids Watch 5X Pro, which feature a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 360 x 320 pixels and two cameras with a hard plastic finish. issue. .

Both watches also offer a 5MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera, and both watches can be rotated 360 degrees and even completely removed from the strap.

Thanks to the Nano SIM, as well as the ability to connect to Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth 4.2, both watches support cellular communication. Both watches have 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

Kids Watch 5X differs from Kids Watch 5X Pro in size and weight, but both watches support the IPX8 standard for water and dust resistance.

Huawei intends to sell the Watch 5X in purple and black for $230, while the Watch 5X Pro in pink and blue will retail for $286.

The fourth watch that Huawei is launching today is the ProCollector Edition of the Huawei Watch GT 3. As the name suggests, it is a special version of the current Huawei Watch GT 3 with a black nano-ceramic case and gold stripes.

The watch measures 43mm wide and retails for $717 in China.
