A report reveals the most important features of the upcoming iPhone 15 |
A new report revealed the main features of the iPhone 15 smartphone, which the American technology giant Apple plans to launch in 2023.
According to a Bloomberg report on Thursday, key features could include energy efficiency and longer battery life thanks to the processor that Apple will put in the iPhone 15.
According to Bloomberg, Taiwanese chip maker (TSMC) has begun producing chips using a 3nm manufacturing process, compared to the previous generation's 5nm manufacturing process.
According to TSMC, the new chips will consume about 35% less energy than the previous generation, which means improved battery life compared to the current iPhone 14 phones. The chipset will also be faster in terms of performance.
But that's not the case, and since Apple designed the (electronic) processor that powers the iPhone, it may choose to design the improvements offered by the 3nm manufacturing process differently, rather than focusing on maximizing energy efficiency.
However, the (TSMC) statement indicates that the (A17 Bionic) chip that will power the iPhone 15 phones will provide better performance while improving energy efficiency. Then the company has plenty of time to perfect the manufacturing process before Apple starts producing the next generation iPhone.
It is also indicated here that if Apple follows the same plan this year, only the Pro models of iPhone 15 phones will get the new chip, which means that the standard iPhone 15 will contain a chip (A16 Bionic) for this year.
It was not long ago that the iPhone 14 phones were announced, but rumors and leaks related to the iPhone 15 phones started and will increase over time until the expected launch date of these phones in September 2023.
One of the rumors that has been circulating for some time in the past is that the camera sensors of the iPhone 15 phones will be upgraded, allowing them to take photos and videos in harsh conditions.
It is also said that some iPhone 15 models will have touch buttons for power and volume instead of the current physical buttons. Note that this rumor has been circulating more than once in the past few years, but it looks like Apple may do so by 2023.
