Lansky QuadSharp QSHARP Knife Sharpeners |
Keep your knives in the field at the exact angle you set them with the Lansky Sharpening Kit! Sharing the same four corners as the legendary Lansky Controlled Angle Sharpening System, the Lansky Quad Sharp is the perfect portable sharpener and kit accessory. The built-in ceramic polishing standard allows this pocket knife sharpener to be used as a stand-alone sharpening solution. The smallest and most versatile multi-angle sharpener on the market!
Use the drag function
Holding the knife in your dominant hand and the sharpener in your other hand: Pull the knife through the desired angled hole. You only need to use three or four strokes of medium pressure to restore the blade. Rinse the blade well after sharpening.
Use a ceramic seat
Medium grit (800) ceramic should be used in standard or hardened steel. The ceramic seat is harder than steel, never corrodes and can often be used as the primary sharpening element on a QuadSharp. The ceramic backing is also tapered for sharpening serrated knives.
Sharpen one tooth at a time by pulling the ceramic element out from the notch side of the tooth. For large lines: Use a circular motion to sweep the angle of the sharpener from one side of the chip to the other. Repeat until the notch is clear, then move on to the next notch.
