| Oppo officially launched the new Reno9 series of phones |
Today, Thursday, Oppo officially launched the new Reno9 series of phones, including: Reno9 and Reno9 Pro, in addition to a more powerful version Reno9 Pro +.
The Reno9 has the lowest specifications and is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, the Reno9 Pro is equipped with the more powerful Media Tech Dimensity 8100 processor, and the Reno9 Pro + has the highest specifications, the Snapdragon 8.1 processor and three rear cameras.
The Reno9 Pro and Reno9 Pro + phones come with 16 GB of RAM, the first Reno phones to offer this size and the first from any OPPO phone after the Find X3 Pro launched about 18 months ago.
Reno9 specifications
The Reno9 mobile phone offers a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with FHD + resolution and a frequency of 120 Hz.Using 10-bit technology, the screen covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum and achieves 800 nits of brightness in normal mode and 950 nits when displaying HDR photos and HDR10 + videos .
On the back of the phone, the design appears to be similar to the Reno8 series of phones, but the camera part is placed horizontally on the back and the lens is slightly raised. The main camera is 64 megapixels and the secondary camera is 2 megapixels. The front camera is housed in a 32-megapixel hole at the top of the screen.
The phone weighs 174 grams, and its thickness does not exceed 7.2 mm, and it contains a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging technology via the included charger. The phone is programmed to work with the ColorOS 13 user interface, which is based on the Android 13 operating system from Google.
OPPO plans to launch the new Reno9 in black, gold, gradient pink and red colors, priced at $350 for the 8GB / 256GB option, $387 for the 12GB / $387 shipping for the 256GB option and the price for the 12GB option is $420 . GB / 512 GB. The phone will go on sale on the second of December.
Reno9 Pro specifications
The phone shares many of the same specifications as the Reno9 phone, such as: battery size and screen specifications. But it has a Dimensity 8100 5nm processor and supports advanced OPPO MariSilicon X NPU imaging platform, enhanced 4K night video recording and 4K Ultra HDR video recording.
On the back of the phone, there is a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f / 1.8 lens slot and an 8-megapixel secondary camera with an f / 2.2 lens slot to take ultra-wide-angle photos at 112 degrees. The front camera has a resolution of 32MP, which is the same as the Reno9.
The phone provides LPDDR5 RAM, just like the Reno9, but it is 16 GB and the internal storage is of type UFS 3.1 and comes in sizes of 256 GB or 512 GB.
Reno9 Pro will be available in gradient black, gold and pink colors, and the price of the 256 GB version is $490 and the 512 GB version is $532. Similar to the Reno9, it will go on sale on December 2nd.
Reno9 Pro+ specifications
Reno9 Pro+ is similar to the other two phones in the series in terms of model, screen size, and front camera resolution, but with a curved screen.
While the back of the phone is similar to its siblings in the newer series, the rear camera area stands out slightly with a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel secondary camera that takes photos. 120 degrees and is also used to capture images used by nearby objects. The phone is equipped with a third depth camera of 2 megapixels.
The Reno9 Pro+ is heavier and thicker than the other two phones thanks to its 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging technology via USB-C port.
The phone will be available in three colors: black, gold, and green, and will cost the equivalent of $560 for the 256GB option and $616 for the 512GB option.
Oppo has opened the doors to order the phone on its official website in China and it will go on sale on December 2nd. At the moment, there is no information about the launch dates of the three new models of the Reno9 series in the global market.
