NVIDIA unveils the GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card for $1199

NVIDIA today launched the GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card, starting at $1,199.

Users of gaming PCs currently on the market can choose between the $1,599 RTX 4090 graphics card, which includes the AD102, or the $1,199 GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card, which includes the AD103.

Preliminary tests confirm the good performance of the GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card, which follows from the previously announced RTX 3080 by the company.

The RTX 4080 graphics card features 9728 CUDA cores, 16GB of GDDR6X RAM, and 320W TGP, which NVIDIA says is the maximum performance the graphics card can deliver to a gaming rig.

It should be noted that AMD is very close to launching the Radeon RX 7900 series of graphics cards, and there are dedicated versions on the market that are cheaper than NVIDIA's version of the RTX 4080 graphics card.
