Instagram launches in-app scheduling feature for professional accounts |
Today, Instagram is rolling out in-app scheduling to all business accounts after testing with some users over the past few weeks.
Instagram's new Scheduled Posts feature allows Pro accounts to schedule posts or (reels) in the app up to 75 days in advance.
In particular, Instagram has made it possible to program posts via (Creator Studio) since 2020. But this new app feature makes it easier to manage content on the go, specifically the ability to schedule content (rails) to improve content performance.
According to Instagram, the feature is currently only available for business accounts, although anyone can switch to a business account via the app's settings.
According to Instagram, the feature will be available on Pro accounts starting today. If not, you will be using it soon.
You can use Instagram's content scheduling feature by following these steps:
- During the creation process, click on the Advanced settings option.
- Click on the "Schedule this post" option and select a time and date to publish.
- Postal number and click on the schedule option.
You can view scheduled posts in the Scheduled Content section, which you can access from the app's settings menu.
This feature is very basic, but offers a much smoother experience without the need for a separate Creator Studio website or app, or a third party service.
Instagram is also bringing achievements and content planning to Rails, according to the platform: "The new features are meant to honor creators for their efforts at Rails."
As a result, when creating Rails, creators have access to achievements associated with specific actions, including: collaborating with other creators via the Collabs tool, adding your own stickers or remixes, and the ability to make Rails more interactive with polls or quizzes.
Specifically, on November 4, 2022, Instagram announced that it will soon offer cross-platform creators a comprehensive toolkit of digital assets, including: Designed to help cross-platform creators. The whole process starts with creating digital collectibles and then selling and buying them via Instagram.
Instagram is expanding the types of digital collectibles that can be viewed in creator accounts, which will now include videos.
