Therefore, this upcoming device is expected to be the latest addition to the range and will be called Sony Xperia Ace VI. Leaks indicate that the device will also be available outside of Japan with a different name.
Some details about the upcoming small smartphone from Sony have now been revealed. According to a new report from SumahoDigest, the smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2520 x 1080 (FHD+) and an aspect ratio of 21:9. If this rumor is true, there will be a major update for the Ace III.
The smartphone is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor, which is the successor to the Snapdragon 480 processor in the Ace III. The new chipset will provide a 15% increase in CPU performance and a 10% increase in GPU performance.
In addition, the smartphone should have a basic configuration of 6GB + 128GB, and we can expect a 4,500mAh battery. The battery is also said to support 18W fast charging.
The device is not expected to arrive anytime soon as rumors point to a 2023 release window.
