Samsung reviews key feature details of One UI 5 update |
The South Korean giant has discussed the details of the key features of the One UI 5 update that will be rolled out alongside Google's new Android 13 update.
Samsung is preparing to roll out the One UI 5 update to some of the company's phones in the coming weeks, and Samsung has once again clarified more details about the features available in the update.
Samsung is also planning to start rolling out the One UI 5 stable update along with the Android 13 update for users of the Galaxy S22 series phones as well as the Z Flip4 and Z Fold4.
The lock screen is the latest and greatest feature to be introduced in a new interface update from Samsung which allows users to customize the wallpaper, customize the watch face, and choose colors.
Samsung also offers the ability to add short videos to the lock screen in the background. Samsung's offering in the One UI 5 update also includes smart suggestions for Home screen widgets, widgets and apps, as long as those suggestions are based on user style powered by machine learning throughout the day.
The update supports customization of settings with specific actions and the ability to customize the functionality of the application to provide users with the best support throughout the day.
Also available with the update is the Bixby SMS Calling feature, which allows users to receive SMS calls, send SMS reminders for the user to sign up, and the ability to select specific messages to be sent by the user to Bixby digital assistants. To be redirected to the other party's real-time connection, but this feature is available in the Korean market first, and then it will add English language features to Samsung in 2023.
Users now also have the ability to extract text from user galleries, and the update also includes a number of features that support privacy and security standards, as well as better support for connected devices.
