Thomas Traceable Waterproof Food HACCP Thermometer |
Thomas Water Resistant HACCP Traceable Food Thermometer, Infrared and Probe Length 6 inches, -67 to 482°F, -55 to 250°C
Thomas HACCP waterproof and trackable thermometers are designed for temperature measurement in food laboratories, food processing, food preparation, and fermentation. The infrared sensor measures temperatures from -55 to 250 degrees Celsius (-67 to 482 degrees Fahrenheit) with an accuracy of + or - 0.6 degrees Celsius. °C (-67 to 626 °F) with an accuracy of + or -0.5 °C. The distance to point ratio of the infrared sensor is 2.5:1. This equipment is designed to display Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) areas for food safety analysis. Green LEDs indicate temperatures below 4°C/40°F and above 60°C/140°F, and red LEDs indicate temperatures between 4°C/60°F/40°F and 140°F. and technical standards that state that it is calibrated to ISO level 17025. This Thomas thermometer is used to measure food temperature in restaurants, grocery stores and other food storage and safety facilities.

Infrared digital thermometer measures surface temperature remotely. You can measure temperatures in Celsius, Fahrenheit, or both. Infrared (IR) thermometers work by focusing infrared radiation from a surface onto a detector called a thermopile. The hot coolant converts heat into electrical energy, which is measured and converted into a temperature reading. Then the reading is displayed on the LCD screen. Infrared thermometers are used to measure temperature on fragile objects (such as ear thermometers) or near hazards (such as industrial facilities).
Thomas Scientific manufactures laboratory supplies, hardware, chemicals, and instruments used in scientific research. It is a contractor registered with the US Federal Government. The company was founded in 1899 and is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
