Cooper-Atkins EconoTemp 32311-K EconoTemp Thermocouple Thermometer |
Cooper EconoTemp 32311-K EconoTemp Dual Thermometer, Type K, Temperature Range -40 to 500° F, Multicolour
The Cooper-Atkins EconoTemp 32311-K Dual Band Digital Thermometer is used to monitor the temperature of food. Accurately measures temperatures from -40 to +500 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 to +260 degrees Celsius) to ambient temperatures from 68 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit (20 to 30 degrees Celsius) to + or -2 degrees Fahrenheit (1 degree Celsius) . The thermometer accepts standard Type K thermocouple probes (sold separately). It has a molded rubber casing that is shock and water resistant. The device is powered by three AAA batteries and will turn off automatically after 10 minutes of non-use to conserve battery life. The European Conformity Mark (CE) indicates compliance with applicable European directives, and the NSF (formerly National Sanitation Foundation) list indicates compliance with applicable safety standards. Compliant with WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances). Comes with a protective rubber bag, lanyard, and instructions.
Temperature measurement range -40 to +500°F (-40 to +260°C) Accuracy 1°F + or - 2°F (1°C), ambient temperature 68 to 86°F (20 to 30°C) LCD Display Height 10, 2 mm (0.4) Energy standards CE, NSF, RoHS, WEEE (3) Weight AAA battery 0.4 lb / 181 g (including battery and case) Dimensions with case 6.7 5 x 2.6 x 1 inches (171 x 66) x 25 mm) (H x W x D)
H is the height, the vertical distance from the lowest point to the highest point; W is the width and the horizontal distance from left to right; D is the depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.
Dual digital thermometers measure the temperature of air, liquid or surface. You can measure temperatures in Celsius, Fahrenheit, or both. Thermocouple thermometers consist of two conductors of dissimilar metals, usually alloys of the same metal, that contact the sensing tip of the thermometer. The difference in conductivity between two plates of metal causes a voltage to flow between the sensor tip and the open end of each wire, which can be used to determine the temperature. Different alloys are used for different temperature ranges. Duplex thermometers are used in applications that require a wide range of temperatures and do not require high accuracy. These thermometers are used in furnaces, turbine exhaust systems, and blast furnaces.
