Moto X40 full specifications revealed |
Today, TENAA revealed the full specifications of the upcoming Moto X40 phone.
The phone is said to have a 6.67-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and 10-bit colour. The phone has a fingerprint sensor under the screen and reports indicate that the device will support a refresh rate of 165Hz.
The TENAA listing shows that the Moto X40 is powered by a 3.0 GHz octa-core processor, which appears to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The phone comes with 8, 12 or 18 GB of RAM and 128, 256 or 512 internally.
3C certification also revealed that the Moto X40 supports 68W fast charging and as for the battery size, the listing says it has a capacity of 4450-4950mAh.
The listing does not reveal anything about the front camera of the Moto X40. However, the front camera should have a resolution of 60 MP, as in the previous model. And the rear camera can be a triple 50MP + 50MP + 12MP.
The phone measures 161.3 x 73.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs around 196 grams, and now that the phone has received 3C and TENAA certifications, it looks like it could be one of the first phones to do so with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The smartphone could enter markets outside of China in the first quarter of 2023.
