| Microsoft adds File Explorer to Windows 11 with tabs and more |
Microsoft on Tuesday announced new features for its Windows 11 PC operating system, as well as new experiences designed to help users "do their best work in terms of productivity and creativity."
The US tech giant said in a blog post that the new features and experiences announced last September will now be available.

Microsoft said that in the past few weeks, the Windows 11 2022 update has been rolled out in more than 190 countries around the world, and last week it announced a new generation of Surface computers.

Tab File Explorer
According to Microsoft, the tabbed File Explorer feature is one of its most useful and aims to make everyday tasks easier for users. It helps in organizing files and switching between folders easily and conveniently.
There's also a Favorites section, which the company says is the perfect place to pin your most used files. When sharing content, Windows can also present the user with a list of contacts who are allowed to share content, as well as personalized suggestions based on the user's account in a Microsoft 365 Office group.

This feature anticipates users' needs and suggests actions they might want to take. For example, when a phone number or a future date appears in text, Windows highlights it to make it easier for users to click or call the number from a phone link, Teams, or Skype, make an appointment, or add an event. for the calendar application.
Other features include easy access to apps pinned to the taskbar and not showing up on the screen due to full storage and easy access to the task manager. It also provides: Easier file sharing with more devices.
In the post, Microsoft said the new Photos app will be available for Windows 11 in late October with new features like Memories.
The company also said that the partnership with Amazon will allow Windows 11 users to access Android apps and games through the Amazon Appstore, which is now available in 31 countries, none of which are in the Arab region.
Microsoft has added new sports and entertainment apps with the ESPN app, which is now available on the Microsoft Windows Store in 239 markets around the world.
The company stated that the new feature will be available for all versions of Windows 11 and 22H2 in November.
