Lenovo celebrates the 30th anniversary of the ThinkPad brand and the company celebrates the anniversary of the brand by launching the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Edition.
Limited to 5,000 pieces, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 30th Anniversary Special Edition features a carbon fiber design with a tri-color RGB ThinkPad logo.
The ThinkPad X1 has a 14-inch OLED display with a display quality of 2.8K and a resolution of 2880 x 1080 pixels. The screen also supports 100% P3 color gamut and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The device also has an Intel Core i7-1260P processor chip, 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
The device also includes a 1080p HD camera to support Windows Hello facial recognition technology, and the device is also equipped with 4 microphones for remote voice recording.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon 30th case is made of 100% bamboo and sugarcane fibres, materials that encourage recycling, and includes a brochure detailing the history of the brand.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is priced at $2,870 and will be available in December of this year.
