The latest leak sums up some of the specs details for Qualcomm's upcoming mid-range Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor.
Qualcomm introduced the mid-range Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor in several phones this year, and the company is now preparing to launch a new generation.
The new version carries the model number SM7475 and the processor is expected to be the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 2, or it may be released as Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1.
The processor is expected to feature a triple design with three groups of cores, including a main core of 3 gold cores and 4 silver cores.
The Roland Quandt report also clarified some details of the core frequency as the main core frequency is 2.4GHz while there is no difference in the frequency of the gold core and the frequency of the silver core is 1.8GHz.
The new processor is expected to be based on the company's new design, so it is expected to feature a Cortex-A715 processor as the main core with a gold core, while it will feature a silver A510 core.
Expectations are that the new processor will improve efficiency, with the A715 cores offering a 5% performance increase and a 20% efficiency boost.
The A510 processor also features minor design changes that boost efficiency by 5%, and Qualcomm is expected to reveal the new processor at the upcoming Snapdragon Summit.
