Huawei announces Nova Y61 for low-income people


Huawei has launched its latest line of phones HUAWEI nova Y61, which belongs to the low-end category and targets people with limited income.

The nova Y61 weighs 188 grams, is 8.94 mm thick, and has a 6.52-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

The phone has an octa-core processor, the company did not mention the type of random access memory (RAM) with a capacity of 4 GB or 6 GB, and the internal storage capacity of 64 GB. Programmatically, the phone runs on Android - version not specified - but it says it's running EMUI 12. It's probably Android 10.

The Nova Y61 offers a 50-megapixel main camera on the back with an f/1.8 aperture, and a secondary camera for close-ups, the resolution of which is not specified, but the lens is said to have an f/1.8 aperture. It has f / 2, 4, and the third rear camera is for deep photography with an f / 2.4 aperture, and there is no mention of resolution. The front camera is 5 megapixels and f / 2.2 lens slot.

The phone is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery that supports HUAWEI SuperCharge 22.5W fast charging technology.

The nova Y61 supports Bluetooth 5.1 and 2.4GHz WLAN. It has a USB-C port and a headphone jack.

In response, the Chinese company did not reveal the price of its new phone, which will be available in blue, green and gray, or when it will go on sale.
