Apple plans to launch MacBook Pro and Mac Mini in the coming months

New reports confirm that Apple has begun ramping up testing of the upcoming Mac Pro as the official MacBook Pro and Mac Mini prepare for release in the coming months.

Apple is preparing to launch a new generation of Mac computers in the coming months, including new versions of the MacBook Pro, Mac mini and Mac Pro.

New details come from analyst Mark Gorman, who said in a Bloomberg report that Apple will continue to ramp up internal testing of the new Mac Pro.

The new report confirms that most high-end Macs offer more than just chips, with two to four times the performance of the M2 Max chips, dubbed ‌M2‌ Ultra and ‌M2‌ Extreme.

The analyst Gorman also pointed out that the Mac Pro comes with processors ranging from 24 to 48 cores, while graphics cards range from 76 to 152 cores and 256 GB of memory.

Gorman also explained that Apple is currently testing a Mac Pro, which has a 24-core processor split into 16 for performance and 8 for efficiency if the device supports macOS Ventura 13.3.

On the other hand, analysts have confirmed that the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro come with M2‌ Pro and M2‌ Max processors.

Some predictions also indicate that the ‌M2 Max will have 12 cores in the CPU, 38 cores in the graphics card and also 64GB of RAM, and expectations are that the ‌M2 Max will have the same number of cores and graphics cards.

Apple is also planning to release a "Mac mini" with an M2 processor chip, which already powers the premium 13-inch MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. Mark Gorman confirmed that Apple will launch the MacBook Pro and Mac mini in the future.
