Xiaomi launched the Mijia 2HP air conditioner in China. As the name implies, the device is designed to cover an area of 20-30 square meters with a power of up to 2 HP.
This clever gadget cools and warms your room over a wide range of temperatures with a heating capacity of 1850 Watts and a cooling capacity of 1650 Watts. According to the company, the device pushes more cool air into the room than other models.
Warm air is pushed into the floor for a "warm carpet" effect, or you can use the ambient mode to push the air up and down at the same time. You can control the device via Mijia APP or Xiaoai voice commands.
The compatibility of the Mijia smart home system allows you to connect the air conditioner with other instruments such as the Mijia thermometer. The device is partially self-cleaning and can remind you to clean the filter via the smartphone app.
The dimensions of the indoor unit are 999 x 308 x 210 mm, while the dimensions of the outdoor unit are 860 x 551 x 331 mm.
You can currently pre-order the Xiaomi Mijia 2ch Air Conditioner in China for 2,699 yuan ($379) with a deposit of 100 yuan ($14). After the first pre-sale period ends, the smart home device is expected to retail for 2,999 yuan ($421).
