TCL introduces Roku 6 Series devices with 4K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate


At IFA, TCL unveiled the latest Roku 6 series devices with 4K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate to support the exceptional gaming experience.

TCL's new Roku devices feature tiny LED panels, consisting of thousands of tiny LEDs spread across hundreds of black areas to support screens with the highest brightness, amazing contrast ratio, and amazing blacks given the up to 360 included dimming areas.

On the other hand, the screen is based on quantum dot color, 100% DCI-P3 color and Hollywood style surface, and the new Roku 6 series has better support for premium gaming experience.

The new device can support 4K resolution in games, the refresh rate is 120Hz, and the variable refresh rate is expected to reach 144Hz.

The new TVs also have 4 HDMI ports, two of which support 4K resolution at 120Hz, and the devices are compatible with AMD FreeSync technology.

The new device relies on a dual-height, low-mid stand when the speaker is placed in front of the screen.

The screen also supports HDR, Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10 Plus and HLG, and the bottom screen includes an ambient light sensor, and the screen supports Dolby Vision IQ and TCL Roku TV 6 devices at a price:

  • 65R655 65" at $999
  • The 75R655 is 75 inches long and retails for $1,499.
