Only 3 steps, easy to use, find air leaks quickly
- Steps 1. Insert two AAA batteries (in the box) into the battery compartment, matching the positive and negative marks.
- Step 2. Turn on the natural gas detector, calibration needs 30-45 seconds of warm-up time.
- Step 3. Enter high sensitivity mode after calibrating the gas leak detector. Point the gas detector sensor at the area to be measured. When the detector detects a flammable gas such as propane, it reacts quickly in less than 0.5 seconds. The number of bars on the screen increases as the gas concentration increases and the background changes from green to red. During this time, the gas detector will beep rapidly and 75 decibels an audible alarm.
- High and Low Sensitivity Modes】 The TopTes PT210 gas leak detector has two detection modes (high and low sensitivity). After a warm-up time of 30 to 45 seconds, the gas detector switches to the high sensitivity mode (range: 50 to 500 ppm), which quickly identifies the source of the gas leak in just 0.5 seconds. It can detect propane, methane, natural gas, sewage, gas, gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas, liquefied natural gas and other combustible gases.
