The Extech MO280 needle-free moisture meter provides non-invasive measurement of moisture in wood and other construction materials with virtually no surface damage. This needleless meter uses electromagnetic technology to quickly display moisture levels. The LCD screen displays the average relative humidity. 0.75 inches (22 mm) below the surface.

The LCD screen of the MO280 displays the humidity reading, the selected material group, the low battery icon, and the data storage icon (if enabled).

Simply press the hygrometer against a smooth, flat surface, the sensor side of the meter touches the material to be measured, and wait for the screen to rest. Note the value on the LCD screen.
