The Cooper-Atkins 470-0-8 Digital Miniature Dual Band Infrared Thermometer is used for non-contact temperature measurement in monitoring the surface temperature of food and catering equipment. It measures temperatures from -27 to +428 degrees Fahrenheit (-33 to +220 degrees Celsius) with an accuracy of + or - 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit (+ or - 2 degrees Celsius). It has a 1:1 ratio of infrared rays to measure temperature. The minimum/maximum temperature memory function stores the high and low readings and automatically keeps the temperature readings for 15 seconds. The device is powered by a CR2032 lithium battery and turns off automatically after 15 seconds of non-use to conserve battery life. The European Conformity Mark (CE) indicates compliance with applicable European directives, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards.
