Qualcomm is preparing to launch a new generation of high-end chips, and recent reports have clearly shown that the company is planning to launch a high-frequency Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor model.
Leaks have begun to dig into the features of Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, and the latest "Digital Chat Station" leak has revealed Qualcomm's plans to launch two Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips.
The first model of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip is said to target Qualcomm processors, while the second model has significantly higher frequencies and speeds.
The current Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor runs at 3.19 GHz with an option to increase the frequency from 3.4 to 3.5 GHz.
On the other hand, the report states that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor will soon focus more on two graphics card improvements.
Some leaks also suggest that Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip will be based on TSMC's 4nm manufacturing process and will support versions like the upcoming iQOO 11 series of phones.
