Lenovo ThinkPad T16 G1 offers longer battery life and a 16-inch screen |
Lenovo launched the new ThinkPad T16 G1 with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 16-inch screen, and models that support lower power consumption can be selected.
The Lenovo ThinkPad T16 G1 is available in two models with different battery capacities, one with a 57W battery and one with an 86W battery.
The device is also equipped with a Core i5-1240P processor chip that extends battery life up to 14 hours.
Lenovo has also equipped this version with a range of different connectivity ports, including two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.0b, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and a Gbit LAN port.
Lenovo does not ship this version of the 4K display model that supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, but the low-power model comes with a brightness of 390 nits and supports screen coverage of 80.5% of Adobe RGB colours.
The device also has 16GB of RAM in DDR4-3200 and the device also supports integrated Intel graphics for fast browsing performance.
On the other hand, the ThinkPad T16 G1 packs 512GB of Samsung PCIe 4.0 SSD storage and also packs a WiFi chip with the fast Intel AX 211.
The device also includes a 1080p webcam and a keyboard that has a transmission distance of 1.5 mm, and the flagship model of the device is expected to be available in the US market for around $1100.
