Leica presents the Cine 1 home projector with laser technology |
At IFA, Leica presented its first Cine 1 home projector with ultra-telephoto display, which will be available in the second quarter of 2023.
The Cine 1 features 100-inch 4K image projection with Dolby Atmos sound, and this version is laser-guided.
Leica showed off an earlier version of the Pradovit branded projector, while the Cine 1 features smart projection and relies on Leica lenses.
The device can also produce 2,500 lumens of brightness, has a size of 100 inches, a 4K display resolution and a refresh rate of 60 Hz, provided the image is viewed from a distance of only 30 cm or 12 inches.
Leica also confirmed that the monitor will cost $7,900 for pre-orders and $6,900 for the 80-inch premium version, which can be scaled to fit the screen size.
On the other hand, Leica has partnered with Hisense to support triple-engine and RGB laser lighting devices, and the projector is based on Texas Instruments' DLP processor with a response time of 30ms, making it compatible with some games.
The device has three HDMI ports, one with HDMI 2.1 with eARC, the other with USB 2.0 and the third with USB 3.0, it also has a built-in TV with connectors for the regular slots, it also supports Android TV and supports 2 Atmos is the audio standard and will be available in the European market in the second quarter from the year 2023.
