Apple introduces the next generation of AirPods Pro wireless headphones |
At today's event, Apple introduced AirPods Pro 2 wireless headphones with the new H2 chip, which provides high bandwidth for the highest sound quality.
Apple Earphones today introduced a new playback engine that supports headphones with better sound quality and clarity, and the headphones feature improved Bluetooth technology to improve wireless connectivity.
In this version, Apple has also improved the capabilities of "spatial" audio, and also introduces Apple AirPods Pro 2 with active noise cancellation thanks to the new H2 chip.
The Pro 2's spatial audio tuning profiles can be created via the iPhone's camera, and the wireless speaker design features a touch-sensitive glide layer on the wireless speaker bar for playback control.
The headphones have a charging time of up to 30 hours of playtime with the case or 6 hours of standalone playtime with the headphones.
In addition, audio can be played independently from both sides of the headset, the headset is equipped with U1 technology to select the "Find My Location" function, and the protective case supports charging via the Lightning connector, Apple Watch, MagSafe wireless charging, or any Qi charger.
AirPods Pro2 are available for pre-order on September 9th at $249 and will be available on September 23rd.
