13th Generation Intel Raptor Lake Processors up to 6GHz


Intel will officially launch its 13th generation of Raptor Lake processors later this month, with a new generation clocked at 6GHz.

Intel released a teaser for its next-generation Raptor Lake processors, confirming that the new version of the desktop processor features a 15 percent increase in single-threaded performance and a 41 percent increase in multi-threaded performance.

This generation of processor is also the first processor with a SKU speed of up to 6 GHz, the chip also set a new world record of 8 GHz, and the processor is expected to be equipped with liquid nitrogen.

Intel plans to officially announce the exact details of its 13th generation Raptor Lake series processors later this month, with the processors officially announced on October 20.

The processor is also based on the Intel 7, which is an updated version of Intel's Alder Lake processor manufacturing process. The manufacturing precision is 6nm, the number of cores is up to 24, supports 8 power cores and 16 efficiency cores.

Raptor Lake-S processors support power capacities from 65W to 125W in desktop versions, while Raptor-P processors range from 15W to 45W and are primarily intended for laptops.

Support for PCIe 5.0 M.2 SSDs is also expected, along with dual-channel DDR5-5600 storage, so stay tuned for more details at the official event later this month.
