13th Generation Intel processors will be available from October 20th

Intel has officially announced the company's 13th generation processors, which will launch on October 20, with the company initially offering the Core i9-13900K for $589.

The Core i9-13900K processor will be available next month for the same price as AMD's Ryzen 7000 series processors.

The Core i9-13900K chip is based on 24 cores and 32 threads with a main frequency of 5.8 GHz, and the processor is expected to be manufactured by Intel with a precision of 7 and a hybrid architecture with x86 performance.

Intel's 13th generation processors also include P and E performance cores for increased efficiency, and the integrated controller ensures that threads run on the correct cores.

Intel uses the same architecture in its 12th generation processors, and split cores consume power more efficiently than 13th generation Intel processors.

Intel's 13th generation chipset will feature a total of 22 processors, initially with "K" processors aimed at high-performance computing with a 41% increase in multi-threaded performance.

New generation Core i5, i7 and i9 processors with more electronic cores are also planned for better performance of multitasking and applications.

Core i9 chip can be overclocked to 5.8GHz, 600MHz more than 12900K processor, Core i7 chip can be overclocked to 400MHz, Core i5 chip can be overclocked to 200MHz.

Intel also said in its announcement that the upcoming chips will reach 6GHz, but the processor giant did not officially announce this at the event.

It also supports a 16-thread PCIe Gen 5.0 chip with DDR5-5600 and DDR5-5200 memory support, and the company has confirmed DDR4 memory compatibility to help PC builders work with support for previous generation memory standards.

  • Core i5-13600KF without graphics card for $294

All Core i5, i7, and i9 chips are configured to support a base power of 125W, while Core i7 and Core i9 chips require 253W for fast access.

It should be noted that Intel launched the 13th generation processor and 700 series. The current plan is for the 600 motherboard to support a new generation of Intel processors, while the new Z790 motherboard will add 8 additional PCIe 4.0 lanes and USB 3.2 Gen ports. 2x2 (20Gbps). In addition, DMI Gen 4.0 supports higher throughput.
