While WiFi 6 functionality is not fully realized in competition with WiFi 5 transmitters (or other radios). WiFi 6E allows the addition of 7 more channels at 160MHz, doubling the frequency bandwidth. Access to 6 GHz provides a wider frequency range, higher speeds, and shorter access times, unlocking resources for future innovations such as AR/VR, 8K traffic, and more.
