Northern Light Technologies Boxelite-OS 10,000 Lux Light Phototherapy Light Box, Black
The Boxelite is an affordable softbox that emits diffused light through its large 12" x 15" front panel. The angle of the panel is easy to adjust and offers 5 height settings, which makes it very flexible and enjoyable to use for reading, dining, etc. This efficient device consumes only 85 Watts but delivers 10,000 lux with a maximum comfort distance of 14 inches. Boxelite is ideal for light therapy but can also be used in the office or for any task that requires bright light.

The sun lights up the entire sky because your entire face is lit by Boxelite's large light screen. For light therapy, your eyes should be in the 10,000 lux range. This makes it very difficult to get 10,000 lux in a small device since you have to sit very close and your eyes must be directly in front of the device.
