Milwaukee Instruments pH 600 pH Tester |
The Milwaukee Instruments pH600 is a compact pH tester with a narrow probe for small samples or test tubes, 2-point manual calibration, single-line LCD, interchangeable electrodes, and low power consumption. pH meters are commonly used to measure the pH of substances such as water, food, beer, or wine in laboratory, industrial and food applications. The one-line LCD display of the meter displays the current measurement. The scale features manual temperature compensation and manual one-point calibration via a potentiometer on top. Three 1.5V cell batteries provide approximately 700 hours of use. The gauge also comes with a calibration screwdriver and instructions.
pH range 0 to 14.0°/h Accuracy 1°/h + or - 0.1 Operating temperature 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F) Operating 95% relative humidity Dimensions 150 x 30 x 24 mm/5, 9 x 1.2 x 0.9 inches (H x W x D) Weight per meter is 85g / 3.0oz.
H is the height, the vertical distance from the lowest point to the highest point; W is the width and the horizontal distance from left to right; D is the depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.
A pH meter, also called a sensor or tester, is a device used to measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance. The pH meter has a portable or table top component. Many portable gauges are portable devices. Some testers have an internal sensor and may have a tip and body suitable for measuring the container. This instrument is commonly used in many different environments, from laboratories to field research and manufacturing facilities. pH meters are used by researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists in aquaculture, agriculture, winemaking, water testing, and scientific applications. Some pH meters can measure other parameters such as dissolved oxygen (DO), conductivity (also called conductivity or EC), temperature, total dissolved solids (TDS), salinity, resistivity, or oxygen reduction potential (ORP)/mV.
Milwaukee Instruments manufactures electrochemical instruments and solutions for water analysis under the Milwaukee and Martini brand names. The company was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Rocky Mountain, North Carolina.
